I rocked up to a job one morning when I was a temp (I had worked there previously) and the foreman said, “sorry, you’re not on my list.” I knew I wasn’t but I was HUNGRY!!! He said, “wait here, I’ll be back in a minute.” 5 minutes later he came back and said, “hey no point going home now and we could use you, follow me.” 3 months later I was offered a full time job. Ya gotta be HUNGRY!!!
