Thanks for bringing Les Crowder. He has a wealth of knowledge. I, as a 4 year beek, am wondering about what is too many hives for my back yard? I know it is all about location, but for me for now it is trial and error and talking with my local beeks.

The organizations that are waging war on the honeybee like the xerces foundation and others don't seem to be moving out of the US themselves. Sweet clover, alfalfa and other preferred honeybee forage are exceptionally useful. They all should work together just like us to make the most beneficial and efficient world we can.

In what way is the Xerces Society attacking the honeybee? If anything, promoting pollinator awareness and more sustainable agriculture practices, such as the leaving of dandelions in almond groves as Les talks about, benefits both native pollinators and their managed cousins.

@ceej2739 I've replied twice to your comment with link to prove what I said and it keeps being either deleted or unapproved.
