As a non-composer (but a roman philologist) I must admit that her French is slightly influenced by her natural accent. Yet it is not a bad French; Polish people, having for their mother language a very difficult one, learn foreign languages relatively easily. Anyway, I find this recording the closest to perfection that had been reached by Victoria de Los Angeles. After all, isn't the human voice yet another instrument for a classical music? If so, I believe that Bogna Sokorska made it.

The language is unimportant, it is the BEAUTY of TONE THAT IS IMPORTANT because it is NON-EXISTENT in the world of opera today where howling, hooty, forced bellowing have replaced the FEMALE VOICE.

I don't know if I could blame it on her being Polish. As a composer, I (and others should) realize that when using pitchest outside the standard chorale range (which is REALLY narrow in comparison to most professional ranges) one should expect vowels to HAVE to be changed to reach clarity of tone.
