Rose De Jamal is an amazing piece of art. Fun fact that while Jamal referenced in the name is referring the Moroccan agricultural engineer who cultivates that Moroccan rose with minty infliction, Jamal in Arabic language means “absolute beauty” as well. Ambre supreme, musc de sables and Rose de Jamal are my favorites.

I do recall hearing that actually about "Jamal" being the name of the person cultivating the roses! I love that they named it that way. It is a beauty for sure. I will buy it soon and I am loving my musc de sables!! Thanks for watching

Thanks for the video on this interesting house Eloise! I'd heard of Les Indemodables, but had never looked into the house myself. I dislike all overly sweet fragrances, so you mentioning that none of these scents go in that direction is super helpful! I need to get my nose on Vanille Havane. Love from Texas!

Great to hear your thoughts on this house. The only one I’ve tried so far was Vanille Havane and I got rid of my bottle as i realized I can’t stand dried fruit notes in perfume. I think I need to explore the whole range and give Vanille Havane a second chance since so many people speak so highly of it 😅
@Eloisescents03092 сағат бұрын
@@jimmy3984 I’ve done that a few times; where I decided to give a fragrance a second chance after writing it off :) Sometimes things change including our taste! But the house in general is worth sampling !

It was nice to hear how much you enjoyed them. I ordered a smaller sample set that was available years back. Unfortunately the only one that spoke to me was Vanille Havane and it was such a let down to not like more of them. As a chypre lover too, I had the exact impression of Chypre Azural. It's named a chypre but it doesn't smell like one at all to my nose. While they were all nice, nothing moved me and most were too light wearing on me to even smell them unless I stuck my nose on my skin. I know others love this house and I wish I could say that I do as well. oxJulia

Well, we can't like everything and sometimes even though others are loving something we just don't! If the set didn't include Rose de Jamal I would try that one. My Musc de Sables is a soft wear but It stays on my skin for longer than I expected so I am happy about that but I think there are others that say the same thing you said about performance. :)

Such a great Discovery Set! My favorites are similar: Vanille Havane, Oranger Sirocco, Fougere Emeraude, and Ambre Supreme. Fougere Emeraude conjures the color turquoise for me, and is a really enveloping, cooling scent. Oranger Sirocco is the color Burnt Orange, and was a total surprise as I didn’t think I’d like it. A beautiful, natural honeyed orange blossom. Vanille Havane is so rich and each note is at full saturation. I won’t buy this though, as the drydown is too similar to Amouage Boundless which I already have. Ambre Supreme is just weird and wonderful. It’s almost not a fragrance, but like you said “your skin but better.” It’s like a magic potion.

My favorite from the house is Patchouli Noisette! It smells clean to me and so amazing. The performance for me was not so amazing as well. My second favorite is Vanille Havane but I never pulled the trigger and it is still on my wish list. BTW my favorite Winter scent has been Epic Woman :)

Nice summary of Les Ind.. 👍🏻 You use the word ‘infamous’ as a lead in to Vanille Havane. I think you intended to mean ‘very talked about (in a positive way),’ whereas infamous means quite the opposite. It means ‘exceedingly bad’ or ‘worthy of being condemned’. It’s a commonly misused word! I enjoy your reviews, thanks!
