This song reminds me of les Kinois at Jericho Social Hall in 1977 where they even got some girlfriends just because of there stage show, the likes of my neighbours at Jericho Lumumba. Vicky for Okello Joseph and the late Shanti for Coco Zigo, may God rest there souls in peace.

The reminds me of my late cousin the producer of the song fwaya (Chris ochuodho). The beautiful voice of samba mapangala and of course my days in jericho estate as a teenager. Quite nostalgic.

Fwaya was the Councilor for the then Kaloleni ward. Here the solo guitar was played by Bibiley as you can hear Samba calling for him. Fataki was in the back vocalists with Madjo, Pele Ondindia. Okello Joseh was playing the rhythm and Diabanza Nicky djo on the bass guitar. Fostau Waroma aka Temopele Bosenza the cheerful drummer.

Mwidini Njuguna: You have forgotten to mention the then irresitable Ugandan on the tumbas, Kasule Mopepe. By this time Les Kinois-Bana Kin was quite extended following the demise of the then formidable Bana Ngenge. Besides Fataki Lokasa, other noticeable presence of ex-Bana Ngenge musicians in Les Kinois-Bana Kin at this point in time included Otis Mandala as well as the great bassist, Nsilu wa Bansilu Manicho. And I think Bedjo Mikombi Mwaumo had also enlisted with Les Kinois by this time.
