Great version. At 2.34 'if I die................let me die..........' Drew does it on one breath carrying through unlike other versions. Plus he still manages to push the 'let' slightly in that phrase. Very powerful choice and better I feel. Great belt as well.

I've been stuck on Colm Wilkinson as the quintessential Valjean since first seeing his performance during a PBS pledge drive almost 30 years ago. Drew Sarich broke through that fixation. (Now I adore both their interpretations)

@@royperez8965 Thank you. This is the Javert I have been wanting! We can see and hear that he is going through an absolute existential crisis about morality, which is the ONLY reason I can imagine someone like Javert committing what he would view as the "sin" of suicide.
