Hey, it might be you do have a good voice, you might have an amazing one but the singer will never think he's as good as he actually is. At least, the one's who aren't confident are, I've noticed most confident people are just-awful, whilst people who doubt their ability have talent like no tomorrow. Why not upload a cover to KZbin so people can see what you're capable of? PS: Just a tip, download an instrumental of the song you're singing and listen to the normal version when recording (Just record your mic and make sure you're wearing earphone/headphones) and BOOM! Perfect quality.

I don't want to just be a hater so I'll say that your voice sound incredible... BUT you don't open your mouth at all to sing. This has a huge effect on words. Early on in this song especially, you can't even tell what some of the words are meant to be.

This was better than average, and Tay Zonday has an incredible voice, but this just doesn't sound right. Although, it is important to consider it is a hard song to pull off, and is really meant for a tenor (I think).
@Zoinkoman13510 жыл бұрын
I love it but you're right, it really is meant for someone with a higher voice.

JoeWithTheGlasses actually, if you change the tone, any one can sing itTenor and bass having different techniques, while there's some true there, is a bit overrated and a dated though, much like being fat makes you sing better.the problem here is that while his voice is powerful and "handsome", he's singing in a very low key and holding back because he's trying to get even lower. that might work in other songs, but doing a falsetto while lowering your tone is difficult as f*ck. you're like having a coffe with a sleeping pill, making your body do one thing and then the opposite. He's going for the falsetto but holding back because of the key, so for him is not a falsetto, is a normal note but trying to make it sound like a falsetto without going too high and being off key, which he ends up doing because he goes a bit low( common mistake nowadays, don't know why)He's also, a bit at the beginning and a lot at the end, out of breath precisely because of the low key, but that's part of his personality so...

Love this song and you have a great voice, but I just don't think this song is right for your voice unfortunately. You also need different technique than your usual for this kind of song. Definitely need to open your mouth more and round out your vowels. Just my take on it. Again, your voice is great, just for this song you need to change it up a little.

Beautiful, I absolutely love the tone of your voice for this song. It was extremely comforting and I was just in awe listening to it. Another one well done :) I love the dramatic songs from you.

Please, please, please take singing lessons. You have a lot of talent, and I think it would do you a lot of good to better learn to harness your voice. If you can master your phrasing, dynamics, and intonation, you'd be outstanding. You're very good, but you really need to do some fine tuning to get yourself to that next level. Keep on singing though! :)

Sorry, but your vocal skills aren't good enough to sing a song like this. Everybody who said that you nailed it doesnt have a clue. Your technique is more than bad. If you'd open your mouth while you sing, that would help a lot. Your voice has a nice sound, but as I hear it you are a bass/baritone, so you should sing songs that fit. This Song is one of the hardest songs to sing. You need a very good falsetto which you dont have. If I were you I'd take classic vocal lessons. I think you have potential. But dont sing songs like this.

***** Tay has a style more suited to modern music, so he struggles with more classical pieces, and that is very much what this song is. I have to agree with him TBH. Tay has a great voice, but this performance wasn't that great. If he took vocal lessons, he could probably learn the techniques quite quickly, but the difference would be astounding. If he learnt to use his voice to its full potential it would be amazing.

An amazing rendition of the piece. It was not exactly what I expected from a Valjean singer, which is pretty good, because most Valjeans are roughly the same, whereas you bring a totally new personality onto the stage. Please make more of these "unexpected character" songs, because I feel that they are the most striking of all your songs. So, in conclusion, I would say that you pulled it off big-time for me! :)
