This is an amazing performance. The last time I was in Seoul was in 1953 as a member of the British Commonwealth Brigade in the Korean War. When I see these wonderful young people so healthy, happy and so free I know that this at least was one war worth fighting.

Yes, they are lovely people that I learned to love in my eighteen years teaching English in South Korea, and the contrast between these precious students and the automatons north of the DMZ is striking.

My very first comment on youtube, im korean living in the uk. Just want to express massive and sincerest 'thank you' to you as fighting for my country at most difficult times with no hopes in the future. No matter which side s.k people support for foreign policy, it is a bare fact that we would not have lived in the coutry we live in right now if so many countries had not willing to help us. I have personally met a few veterans who approached me as they found out im korean, there is so many emotions flowing in with gratitude and empathy for what they had to go through as young men. S.k has become a beautiful country and feel proud for what you have done for us. God bless you

Edward Carron Out of my heart I appreciate your sacrifice. If it had not been for your support, Korea would not have been as prosperous as now. I can't even dare to fathom your feeling, but I am grateful for what you have done.

Hyung Jun Kim I am very grateful for your comment. Many wars have been fought which achieved little or nothing for the countries in which they were fought - The Korean War was an exception - it was a war worth fighting because it was the people of the south who benefited. It is very sad that we did not go on right back up to the Yalu river but this would have meant another world war with China involved.China is a much better country now and we can only hope that North Korea will one day follow the direction taken in South Korea. Give a thought occasionally for a few of my friends who were left behind in the military cemetery in Pusan

After 18 years and many return trips to South Korea, I've learned to love the country and the people, especially my many former students from the university where I taught for so long. If my friends would see this wonderful video and the beautiful smiles on their faces, they would finally understand why I can't get enough of South Korea and its people. God bless the Republic of Korea.

I'm an American but i think this is the greatest presentation of one day more that i've ever seen and heard. I didn't understand a word of korean, but i know the english lyrics. Utterly fantastic. This group was just excellent.. i'd like to see them do other les mis numbers as well. extraordinary voices all around.

I've seen a few of these now from all over the world but this one really stands out because of how well organised, arranged and beautifully sung it is. Everyone seems to consider the person next to him and they all seem to see the same message ahead - don't know how else to say - you couldn't help but watch listen and that said I don't speak a word of Korean yet I understood - if that makes any sense at all 😄 Well done everyone.. Wish I'd been there 🤗

I never tire of watching these adorable young people sing their hearts out in the fabulous video. Having lived in South Korea for eighteen years, I immediately recognized the locations where this and the other video by virtually the same group were made, and I visited both locations the last time I visited Korea in 2015 and will do so again this year when I return. I grew to love this beautiful country, and so many of my former students have become my best friends. God bless the Republic of Korea, and may the Lord protect them from the lunatic in the North.
