This song (and movie) has helped give me the inspiration to start my company ‘SingwithFred!’. It’s a musical opera where every word is sung! Also I had a huge crush on Catherine Deneuve. I cry when I hear the music and see the brilliant visuals. Indeed the words are almost irrelevant. In this version the piano and violin are the two lovers. This is a sentimental tune, so it's easy to overdo it with the violin's garnish. But this felt just right despite being quite bold. So well done!
