Great work. I have a question about your process. What kind of photo emulsion did you use to expose your screen ? Many emulsions for sale dont seem to be suitable for use with solvent based paints

Hey there! Are you still making the “Les Paul Model” silkscreen frames? Working on a project of my own and would love to buy one if so. Thank you!

I tried with Jacquard Screen Printing ink but it doesn't work on the headstock, which type of paint do you suggest? acrylic, oil based?
@8BombCustom7 жыл бұрын
MAD STEEX - Sound Producer I use linseed oil and oil paint as a base. in this video everything is shown. With the text I added comments on the materials. Do not use acrylic. after it you can not wash the net.

Cool... though had a thought when watching this. Should make a frame with 4 dowels sticking out to line up with 4 of the 6 tuner peg holes... then you wouldn't have to line it up. If it's in the peg holes, it'll be lined up perfectly the same every time.
@fredturd4 жыл бұрын
Adding dowels through the peg head would not work. His method of lining it up against the nut slot is efficient for low production. Lifting the frame like a hinge prevents paint pull-up and smearing.
