Never mind his handicap. I play off 18 and get nervous when a group is waiting on the tee behind. What I think is noticeable is how much FUN they are having. Mark is a pro and is enjoying a round of golf with someone of a much lower level. That's what makes golf great. It's a leisure activity for most and should be FUN. FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FOOOORE FUN

I haven't got a handicap yet as ive only been playing 4 months but I average around 87-90 per round at the moment, so I guess I'll be around 18 handicap. But I definatley play a lot better than trent (sorry trent!). I find it hard to believe hes a 16 handicapper.

jonnylaris There are a lot more ways to shoot 90 than one. I have a friend that will par or better anywhere between 13 to 15 holes a round and he still has a 12 handicap.

jonnylaris If you are averaging 87-90 you'd be lower than an 18. A player will shoot his handicap or better less than 1/4 of the time.

Usual BS from people questioning Trent's handicap. The guy is playing with a pga professional on a tree lined championship length course having travelled all day and with no warm up. He also knows he is going to be on KZbin watched by a load of passive aggressive armchair critics who will jump on his every duffed chip and topped drive. Most people on here are playing golf on courses with fairways as wide as football pitches off the yellow tees and giving each other every putt within 10 feet. They would crumble in Trent's position.

+100. I have the same hcp as Trent, and on the first two holes I saw a lot, which I would have probably done as well. Like stopping a downhill bunker short that really should not stop short and then also not getting a putt to the hole, which is so steeply downhill that by all the laws od physics, it should be impossible to leave it short. Seeing that, I thought "This is me."

Exactly what you said Golfguy076. That is what 16 Handicappers look like. I play off 5. Sometimes playing a Club Matchplay Comp against a 16 handicapper is tough work as you are playing a Guy who also knows the Course inside out. However, give me a tree lined championship length course that is alien to us both and if I play well I should have the game wrapped up in 14 holes. Fair play to Trent - He's a good sport!

Have to feel for Trent, can't imagine what it's like being filmed, knowing that thousands of people will be watching, so fair play to him for taking it on the chin, and still having a laugh. Nice to see him settle in and finish the video well too. Good on ya #Brick Lovely course too, nice and tight, and them greens look tough. Only played one course in France, Golf De Reims, and it was pretty similar, lots of trees, tough greens, undulating fairways which led to well positioned bunkers, was a good challenge.

Handicaps reflect the players average, not their best nor worst. Judging a player on one game isn't exactly fair. Look a John Daley, he recently shot in the 90's and he's pro, and a successful winner as well, it happens to everyone.

Within about a week or two the little flap that holds the laces down in the middle of the tongue ripped on one of them. Other than that, The only problem with them is the price.

Actually there good shoes, I do find you have to lace them quite tight to get the squeaking to stop but same with other golf shoes, depending on if ur right or left handed the front toe spike will rip off after about 2-3 rounds. Overall a good shoe they have narrow for the size if recommend trying the narrow or wide making sure u get the snug fit

Hey Mark how about this idea for a video series? Give Trent 7 or 8 maybe 10, 30 minutes lessons. Make a video for each one highlighting what was worked on. At the end of it all, play a full 18 rounds and see how his game has improved.

Lot of comments about Trent's handicap, but to be fair I can see how he got to his 16 hcp (it's easier when you're playing the same course every week). All he has to do is par 2 holes and bogey the rest, but that's easier said than done! In this video he seems to have forgotten the basics of golf, lots of poor strikes and he doesn't have many shots in his bag, he's hacked his way round a bit! But knowing you're being filmed and ultimately going to be watched by thousands of people is pretty nerve racking for an amateur. I think he'll get better as the day progresses though, keep at it Trent, we know how it feels!

They played with no warmup after a long trip to the course. The holes are pretty tight with nasty rough and fast, slopey greens. By hole 4 Trent made a nice par. A few more of those and he's down to 16 or so. Golf is the last true gentleman's game -- we all root for each other. Just sayin'.
