There was something magical to me, a twelve year old listening to his transistor radio, with this theme tune coming across the north sea from a pirate radio ship, while tucked up in my bed at night, at Lowestoft in the 1960's. It was such a unique period that came and went, I am so glad to have have experienced it. This theme tune by Les Reed is a masterful piece used by RNI. Thanks for uploading it.

Ik kan me herinneren dat dit vroeger de herkenningstune van Radio Noordzee was. Nadat de zeezenders in 1974 definitief verdwenen, werd het alsnog een grote hit. Dus gerechtigheid alom.
