The run game lessens that pressure on the QB. McVay has to Keep calling hand off plays. Plus they're moving the pocket which also lessens the impact of the rush.

He's being targeted more in the heavy leverage situations, he's drawing more targets, getting more yardage. By every measurable means, Puka is the team's WR1 which brings up an interested dilema... can the Rams afford to pay Kupp $30m/yr for his diminished role in 2025 & beyond or will the money be better spent strengthening the team elsewhere?

This off-season may be the time to look to trade Kupp, get his money off the books and pickup a draft pick in return. Unfortunately, there’s no room for sentimentality in this business. Branch Rickey once said, “It’s better to trade a player a year too early than a year too late.” That still holds true today.

My question is what WR is able to run routes, catch, YAC, run block spread wisdom to his teammates all while doing Nine and Dime? I say keep the money! We have a young team full of talent. I just don’t think the rams would be the same without Kupp being somewhere in the mix. Might just retire after we win the chip and become a WR coach! lol 🤷🏾‍♂️

@ Rams WR was drafted to replace Kupp in 2026. He’ll replace Robinson in 2025 unless the Rams speed up the timeline and move on from Kupp next season.
