I remember seeing this on HBO one day and it gave such a creepy tone. I must have been like 10 at the time. But this scene is something that stuck in my head so well. I absolutely love the music and the way this scene tells so much in so little time. I have waited years to finally watch the movie and tbh I think im ready to. I want to understand it and appreciate the animation

I love animation. The only reason why they started the animation category at the Oscars is because animation was starting to become a force to reckon with Shrek was going to be nominated for best picture and they thought it could win best picture

If you like french animation, i would recommend those movies : "Le roi et l'oiseau" by Paul Grimault, "La planète sauvage" by René Laloux", and "Prince et princesses" by Michel Ocelot (and all his movies actually).

I love how this film breaks the 'faded celebrity' trope, where the star is resentful in their old age. Instead, the triplets have kept their passion for their craft, and keep making music in any way they can.

Le moment où on entre dans la tête du chien je trouve la scène angoissante, sombre, triste, lourde et cette musique qui te rentre dans la tête mais moi quand je l'ai vu ça m'a rendu mal à l'aise et surtout cette musique te rentre dans la tête. Bref le film a une ambiance glauque, crade les personnages sont glauque et flippant

I always loved how the mafia bosses form a being of monstrous proportions. It reminds me of a refrigerator. They might be silent but they are imposing ! I always loved Silvan's films and I am still looking for The Lady and the Doves. It is impossible to locate, I've had troubles finding it and I don't exactly know where to look. I will forever be a Silvan fan because I love a tale told through music, movement and gesticulation. In truth, 1/2th of all communication is non-verbal anyways.
