Michail Solomons who knows exactly why artist do what they do. Although Les Twins don’t smoke on a regular bases or may never have their environment is filled with people who do and it’s a big part of urban life today. As to why most dancers. Smoke weed I think I am qualified to answer that question. Cannabis with heated and inhaled allow our mind to unfocus on the many things we create and torment ourselves with. Things like anger, grief, fear, obsession, greed, envy and so many more. Each of these things are barriers keeping ourselves away from emotional purity, a state where we can truly tap into the unlimited potential we all have within. Weed seems to bring closer that uncompromising state were connecting your self to the music is much easier. That coupled with the psychedelic effect with amplifies the whole experience including creativity, emotional intent and musicality. As to why LesTwins don’t smoke, I believe they both were born with a special connection to music and by extension and their environment, to dance. I believe much like dogs smell, the Twins have been able to fine tune and elevate their gifts to a point when they experience a song they automatically hear each individual instrument and nuance of the composition separately as well collectively.. they are already at a place where no amount of drugs can take you. With their core belief system, hard work, and talent they have become closer to accessing the fullness of unlimited potential we all ultimately possess. Hope that helped, I realize I may have over sensationalized and advocated the use of weed here, but I felt it essential in the context of your question. To each their own.

I was wondering what draw people to our new house music sounds. The younger generation of DJs created Gqom house music and a new style of dancing followed it. The Older generation called it Acid House or Trance Afro House, because of the effect it had on people. They said you have to be high on drugs to dance like that. Our Zuĺus are known foŕ their drums, clapping of hands, whistles and rhythmic stomping of feet. And then the magic start. They start moving in ways that seem unnatural or even impossible . They named it Gqom. When theyvpronoubce the word it really sounds like a loud, deep, bass drumbeat. I found the same in our "Bushmen" or Khoi San tribe. The same dancing and singing around a fire . But the story telling is told in dance form and closely mìmic the moves of animals or nature. They did similar tumbling moves as in hiphop, but they are just mimicking tumbleweed blowing in the wind. Why does our beats make us even contort? Maybe th I is a question to mýsef, but I see it in Les Twins and I don't know maný other dancers yet, but Paradox and .Know just seem to also leave our dimension. Guys and dancers know more about creating beats. Im just a spectator, but I really need to know. I just saw a beat boy battle that was ok, but the peoole requested anotber round and they turned of the music and the lights.
