I fully subscribe to what Shan said about right person wrong time. My husband was my first kiss at 13. We dated in middle school, broke up, but remained great friends. We matched on bumble when we were 23, and we’ve been together ever since. We turn 30 this year, and we joke all the time about how we always knew, despite the fact that when I came out of the closet as bisexual, he was the first person I told. He’s always accepted me as I am. The right person will always find you at the right time, even if they’ve technically always been there.

Zolita giving fem vibes but is actually more masculine and logical in making decisions generally is a huge validation for me. I also love the chase and I feel less interested if they're really really into me. Loved this episode so much. Zolita is such an interesting chill person. No wonder they're great roommates. You compliment each other's personality so much. Great job Shannon! Thank you for putting out this content.

Here is my answer to the right person wrong time that no one asked for lol... I agree with Zoe, you can meet someone and everything fits, not perfectly but even the fact that it's not perfect fits but maybe y'all weren't mature enough to handle that commitment or that person at that time but if both people own their wrongs, are self-aware and have grown (gone through therapy, continuing to heal, living in acceptance) and life allows y'all to cross paths again.. You can get it right if certain things have changed and if its truly what you want after having certain conversations.
@portialyons609611 ай бұрын
Also, don't wait... live your life, truly live and if for some reason (not by force) you end up crossing paths and feeling that "vibe" so to speak then see what happens. BUT also, I love love hearing Shannon speak on her experience, love the openness, i'm just so happy for you!!!

Once I marry someone, I’m in it forever. It’s why I’m taking my time and dating intentionally, waiting as long as it takes to find! I definitely couldn’t commit to anyone who needed the possibility of an open relationship later. But I’ll find someone who feels the same eventually… right?? haha Loved this ep! Thanks so much 🥲
@chinusaxena96310 ай бұрын
Ya like right now its okay but ofcourse in 2 years I will get bored. So please keep the option open. Like who even says that. Why marry if you are like that. Its like asking a pass to cheat before even you are committed. It's so ridiculous that it is funny

It is good to find people who think about open marriages or open relationships; in my case I have always maintained open relationships and honestly it has worked very well for me, since after a while of being with the same woman some things change and I lose interest very easily, although of course not everyone sees it well.

Talk about pulling back the curtain! It was Interesting to hear - from an artist/influencer - about an artist’s process, what’s tapped into, and (from a business savvy standpoint) how market potential and strategies play into a finished product. Gotta give the audience what it wants, right? Should an artist not capitalize on their experience? Is it less “art” if the experience is twisted and curated? Is knowing what an audience wants and playing into it manipulative or smart? Whatever it is, it isn’t “boring”! (And how much does that influence it all?) It must suck to have genuine feelings exploited… Can’t feel good to sacrifice one’s integrity for popularity or profit either…. Makes me miss the good old days of KZbin - when no one knew what the hell they were doing!

A long-term partner isn’t really like sleeping with the same exact person forever because you both change a lot over the years and the sex changes and what you like and what you do and when and where that changes too. I’ve been with my partner for 15 years and I feel like the sex has gotten better because there’s now so much more depth to the relationship and we’re also both way more experienced. And like there are a lot of things that you can do … Everyone has to be a mench in the relationship - don’t just do the bare minimum and expect things to be good
