I want to dedicate this beautiful song to all those nations and people that have lost their freedom (first of all: Tibet!) or have never known independence. May this be a sort of anthem for them all!

ShawnDamiani: If you ever happen to see this........I LOVE IT! The music fits the scenes beautifully. No one seems to understand that Vlad/Dracula WAS fighting for the liberty of his country, & that, in the end, Dracula is liberated from his undead state by Mina. The song speaks of pain & the video shows just that. The complaints here are absurd & narrow-minded. Just wondering, tho - why are there lines throughout the video portion?

Vlad staked out his country;s enemies... invaders who came to attack his country and people .... I believe they were Muslim armies .... staking them out on the roads was a harrowing sight to additional forces and served to keep his county safe from them. Vlad Tepisch is a hero in Romania

Actually, the spirit of the song does match the images of the movie. That's Vlad Tepes(ignore the Dracula legend) fighting for the independence of Valachia from the Caliphate. You know, all that stuff about freedom.

@darkness71775 No hay una sola linea del libro de Stoker en que aparesca el nombre de Vlad Tepes.

Appalling choice of video for such a beautiful and sacred song. The person who chose it must be sick.

Am I the only person who reels from the irony of a man taking out a cross after going through a great battle and praising the god of a religion who commanded those whom he chose to never kill?

To kill in the name of God- this video is nothing but a horrible confirmation of dark spirit of christianity which I dare to say has nothing to do with the song...
