You do this as a business or just a hobby? I asked about a Tyfon 300 and 575dve on another vid a while back. I am looking around for diaphragms and info in general. Trying to get both working on air. Just getting started. Do you have an email to contact you or another resource to recommend?

hobby. Tyfon 300 and 575 diaphragms are very expensive to reproduce. I wouldn't have anything big enough to machine 575 diaphragms (23 inches) 300 diaphragms are possible but the material (phoshpor bronze 510) is very expensive and hard to source these days

@@b2major9th you've already helped me with the phosphor bronze 510. Haha I am actually a machinist myself and may be able to get these done with the right info.

I have a Leslie tyfon a200 from a submarine I’m trying to find or make a diaphragm for it do you have any specs
@b2major9th2 жыл бұрын
The diaphragm consists of a stack of three disks, 510 phosphor bronze, 200 mm (7.87 in.) diameter. The thickness is either .050 or .063 - I'll have to open my ex-U. S. Navy bronze A200 and measure the thickness. The diaphragms are purposely bowed in the forward direction to help create proper pre-load

The 2, AE125 dias ya made me would they work in a A125?
@b2major9th3 жыл бұрын
Yes - I tested them in the A125 in this video and they worked just fine! Likewise, the plastic diaphragms will also work in your marine version
