Only 14 when she did this, what a talented young pop superstar! Like wow! Is such a feel good masterpiece of a pop hit. First heard in the end credits of Shrek, been in love with Leslie Carter ever since. What a voice and beauty. Gone way too soon and tragically, May she and Aaron be at peace in heavenly paradise. Loving the early 2000’s pop sound and lyrics, Like Wow! ♥️😍🥰😘🌟✨🤩❤🎵🎶🎙️🎤👑⚜️💎😇♾️📺🎞️

Sorry, I know this something we've heard time and time again, but this song deserves it one more time: Genuinely, what the actual hell happened to music like this??? Why is it that there's NO feeling of simplicity or innocence in songs anymore, especially by teenage artists today? There doesn't really seem to be happy teen songs anymore, everything teenagers are exposed to now always has some sort of toxic or adulterated or depressing or intense message to it from absolutely nowhere. Again, let me know if you know similar artists who do songs like this nowadays, cause God only knows I can't find them.

this genre is also a favorite of mine, and I recommend Carly Rae Jepsen! I loooove every song on her B-side of Dedicated, but I also love other songs of hers like “Gimme Love” and “Store” :D as far as other music that’s actually from this era, I also love Ashley Tisdale’s album Headstrong if you haven’t already heard it. I could listen to Positivity by Ashley Tisdale any time of any day!

A very happy song. I just found it very strange to be in the original Shrek. I didn't fit that movie, so having that song in it was very silly. Turns out the reason why it was in Shrek was because it was owned by DreamWorks' record label; DreamWorks Records.
@ZACHdu424 жыл бұрын
No, that's not the reason. It's just that having a good soundtrack in the end credits of a movie helps to promote the movie a lot.

I think they put it in Shrek to help the song get more popular, since the movie was a box office smash. Like how All Star by Smash Mouth wouldn't of been as iconic if it wasn't for Shrek. The song and the movie came out about the same time so it makes sense to me.

No. Her album was canceled in 2002. She overdosed in 2012 and was married, had a kid and was in a small band and had been on TV a lot, so I doubt she overdosed over something from ten years prior.
