I do not have an ultrasonic cleaner but I do have a tumbler. Can I use a tumbler? Can you polish a ring with a stone in it? Can it take scratches off a stone? Thank you for the video. It was very informative.
@LeslieKailVillarreal17 күн бұрын
No, you never put anything with the stone in a tumbler or pin finisher EVER!!! the pin finisher will leave a texture so it will camouflage light scratches but it’s best to remove them with sandpaper or polishing tools before you put them in there now a rotary Tumblr will burnish It will also not remove scratches burnishes so it’s kind of like a polisher.

Fantastic video and just what I was looking for as Santa left me the hood fan and bench lathe and kit ! I’m in the uk and I don’t have an ultrasonic but you mention blue dawn. Is that like a washing up liquid like fairy liquid ? That’s what I use here in the uk for washing the dishes. Thanks again Leslie x

Great information on my next purchases! I can always count on your videos for the details I need! One question- how often do you need to reapply the compound on the wheel?

You make a lot of the point which are missed in other discussions about polishing. Especially about not cross contaminating your buffs with other compounds.

Hi, do you recommend vibrator tumblers for polishing bangles?
@LeslieKailVillarreal3 жыл бұрын
I recommend you use a polishing lathe vs a vibratory tumbler for a true high shine

Thank you, Leslie! I really love these videos when you share so much of your knowledge! Are you polishing your Bombe Ring? Do you teach the Bombe Ring in 22K Gold? I learn so much from your online classes! You are a fantastic teacher! xo
@LeslieKailVillarreal4 жыл бұрын
Hello hun! The rings is from my POP RINGS online class. You can learn more about it by going to lesliekailvillarreal.com/shop/ 22k is s bit to soft for rings but it can be done in 20k or 18k sheet using the same methods I use in my class. Thanks for the compliment!

@LeslieKailVillarreal4 жыл бұрын
they are powder free they come in small med and large, the brand is irrelevant get gloves that fit your hands well without being loose at the tips and allow you to grip your metal securely Better Yet, use bare hands if you don't mind getting dirty,
