Ariel rider grizzly has a 30 second video, so useless. This is very helpful! Thank you!

I installed these Super 73 Grzly 4.5 wide tires on my Ver.3 Grizzly and the chain rubs the tire side when in 1st gear.
@LesFishingMoreCatching7 ай бұрын
Yes mine slightly rubs also but it hasn’t cause any issues. I only use 1st gear on really steep climbs. I think I mentioned in one of my previous videos that it will slightly rub in 1st. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the tires otherwise.

Has Vee gone out of business? I have tried to get in touch with three different e-mails for them and they come back that they don't exist. I had the bead blow out in a few miles and now the replacement is doing the same thing, and the entire tire is wabbling.
@LesFishingMoreCatching Жыл бұрын
Not that I know of they are a pretty large bike tire company. Which tire do you have? My tire was a collaboration between Vee tires and Super 73. What psi were you running?
@JB91710 Жыл бұрын
@LesWang Speedster at 17psi, their max says 20 on the tire.

Hey there. I realized after buying two of the brake adapters listed they are for the front. Do you know what the correct back rotor adapter is? Thanks
@LesFishingMoreCatching7 күн бұрын
I kept the back rotor the stock 180mm size so u didn’t use an adapter. If you use a floating rotor like the Magura you will need a spacer for the disc to mount to the hub.

What inner tubes did you use for this? Stock grizzly tubes or just any 20x4.5" tube?
@LesFishingMoreCatching10 ай бұрын
I used the stock ones I think that were good to 4.0” but you can use anything that is 20x4.5”

So the 20 x 4.5 fit on the grizzly? I was gonna order them but wanted to make sure I was thinking right.
@LesFishingMoreCatching Жыл бұрын
Yeah if you go to 5” wide the chain can rub the tires in the lowest gear.

Did these tires affect your range and top speed much? I would like to get the same tires you did but they never seem to be in stock these days. Also, possibly looking at Shinko 244 which also look awesome but people are saying they do affect range quite a bit.
@LesFishingMoreCatching2 жыл бұрын
I didn’t test range but being they weigh more and have more knobs I would assume the rolling resistance would equal less range. The fronts don’t spin as much when launching from a stop and the top speed might be the same or slightly more since the tire diameter is larger.
@FatHulkRideEbike2 жыл бұрын
@@LesFishingMoreCatching So based on your comment it may have affected it but probably nothing huge or it would have been apparent.

Do you prefer grizzly tires or BDGR tires for street riding?
@LesFishingMoreCatching2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried the BDGR but I would assume they are better for strictly street. I take mine offroad and wanted some really knobby tires so I went with the Grizzly’s. The tires are made by Vee. They have another tire that is pretty popular and has good reviews. I forget the model off hand.

@LesFishingMoreCatching11 ай бұрын
@tonyhui4149 the rear has an added torque arm which you have to undo. Also the motor connector on the front is higher up under the frame.
@smitty4699 Жыл бұрын
how difficult is the rotor upgrade to do?
@LesFishingMoreCatching Жыл бұрын
The fronts not difficult if you can take off the front wheel. The rear is harder if you want yo use the magura 2 peice. Need to add washers and space out the rear slightly.

I have to agree. I really needed to see how to actually mount your tire on the bike and this video was a waste of time. Good luck on your next one.
