If anyone sees this my name is Quentin, and I'm reaching out during a challenging time for my family. I'm 51 and living with a disability, while my wonderful wife Hope, who is 57, recently lost her job. We have an 11-year-old daughter who brings us so much joy. We would greatly appreciate your prayers and support as we navigate this difficult situation. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.

When my children were small I found that Christmas Day often left me disappointed. I discovered that I could not pin all my holiday hopes on Christmas Day and we became intentional about celebrating the season- making memories all month long. Tons of free activities, hosting friends, making family time for movie classics and stories both secular and religious.

We had a fire once just before Christmas...I was a single mom of a 6 and 1 year old. I had green wrapping paper...cut out a tree out of it. Taped it to the tv. Wrapped some gifts I eas given for my children.....they LOVED IT. It wasnt about the tree. It was about the magic. Being greatful that we were still together after a fire.❤

I personal things going in my life. One of the worst is that my son is not with me. I ask for you to pray for him. His name is Brandon, he is with his grama in Guyana and I'm in the US. Mamá Joyce / ladies 🩷 are you guys able to speak on your experience with pre menopause / mena pause . I’ve been hearing about some pretty scary symptoms and consequences of mena pause . And would love to hear your personal experiences & how you incorporated the word of God to get through that difficult time on women’s bodies and mind.

My husband and I don’t have kids. So sometimes people assume our family doesn’t count because it’s just the two of us. But it’s still important to us to have our own time together. How do you recommend addressing those people who give us a hard time?

I think presents should be for kids. Once you're an adult lets JUST celebrate the Birth of Jesus!! It's the reason for the season. The only "presents" I do now are donations. My kids and partner don't need anything. TOO COMMERCIAL, it saddens me :(

pray for me and my family, 9 months of my son 10 and daughter 11 taken from me false SA allagations by my ex. the mental abuse kids received to believe is sad and heart breaks. keep me and my family in prayers. I don't want to only have supervised paid visits till they are 18. I want them back Home. court was postponed by my ex.. expedited another 3.5 months. it's hurtful he lies to my kids and makes them say they were abused and I didn't protect them.

my 2 kids won't have Christmas with us, not Thanksgiving, Easter or both birthdays. because my Ex bf. filed a emergency danger order on lies! back in March and keeps pushing out court to a second trial date. I am pretty disgusted by this and hurt by my kids' behavior acting like their Dad.

God does not want you to have a lot of money: "Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.'” (Matthew 19:23-24, Catholic Bible) It is very important to read the Bible!

The Bible verse you're referring to is likely: *1 Timothy 2:12* "For I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be silent." (1 Timothy 2:12, NIV) This verse has been interpreted in various ways throughout history. Some perspectives: *Traditional View* 1. Women should not teach or have authority over men in church settings. 2. This verse establishes male leadership within the church. *Contextual View* 1. Addressing specific issues in ancient Ephesus (1 Timothy's context). 2. Women were promoting false teachings or dominating worship. 3. Paul aimed to maintain order and orthodoxy. *Egalitarian View* 1. This verse reflects first-century cultural norms, not timeless principles. 2. Women should be equal participants in church leadership and teaching. 3. Other biblical passages support women's ministry (e.g., Galatians 3:28, Acts 18:26). *Notable Interpretations* 1. Augustine: Women should not teach doctrine. 2. Calvin: Women's subordination is ordained by God. 3. Modern interpretations emphasize mutual submission (Ephesians 5:21). *Relevant Passages* 1. 1 Corinthians 11:5 (women prophesying) 2. Galatians 3:28 (equality in Christ) 3. Romans 16:1-2 (Phoebe, a deacon) 4. Acts 18:26 (Priscilla teaching Apollos) Would you like more information on biblical interpretations, historical context or specific denominational perspectives?
