Out 8th grade field trip hit many of these places - I lived in Oregon for 4 years. We left our little crossroads of a town in the Cascade foothills, went past Mt Hood over to the desert, down to Bend, then Crater Lake and Diamond Lake, and on to see the lava tube caves. We did make it to the coast, and back up, though. Portland: if it's not the freaks, it's the rain.

I live a couple hours outside the area in the game, I'm no expert, but have driven through there a bunch. It does a good job of feeling very familiar, especially when it name drops the roads and surrounding towns.

@@christopherkimber7679 Farewell is a shortened version of the original name for Bend. The geography positioning is a bit warped in the game, though, to get the 6 blocks on the game map which unlock as the game progresses.

Love this game. Played 40+ hours by May of this year on PlayStation Plus. Life happened so I couldn’t get back to it. Ended up just buying a copy and now I’m back in at 50 hours. Missed the hell out of it. One of those games I can definitely see myself getting a platinum it. Wish they didn’t cancel a sequel. I keep hearing rumblings, creeping back up, about a sequel. Maybe it’ll come to fruition. Damn shame if it goes the Bully route.

Probably because some of the trophies are bugged. Literally since the game came out the trophy has been glitched for me to just drift and boost at the same time for 5 seconds… The most basic trophy in pretty much the whole game and it’s the one trophy I’ve not had for actual years. No matter what I do it doesn’t pop.
