Thanks! for the video. I tried what others said of placing the chip around the transponder, I tried different places but non of them worked. I bought the litttle bypass4 box and also had to hook the green wire ( the one that come together with the ground and power cables) to the signal wire going to the bcm and work really good. It save me good $600.00 to $1000.00 dls. Thanks again!!!!

I bought a PK 3 Transponder key blank online and had a key maker duplicate it from my original key. Then followed the directions for programming the key from the ignition switch. Took less than 5 minutes to program it and works great. 2001 Lesabre.

thanks for the video i wired my bypass like this for my remote start now i can just get a normal key cut. i used a programmable one for mine it was a PLJX UTI. sweet you made my day

I'm pretty sure this does not permanently fix the problems. This method will bypass the radio transmitter/receiver that surrounds the lock cylinder as well as the transponder chip in the key. This method does not bypass the anti-theft control module which is connected between the transmitter/receiver and the engine ECM.

I was building a demo out of a 99 Montana van. Ignition cylinder was stuck. We broke it to get it to rotate. The pass key 3 sensor was broken into pieces in the process, rendering it usless. Will this product replace that allowing us to get the van running?

Hey bro, I have a 04 colorado I replaced factory stereo with a after market pioneer supertuner and I had 2 purple wires left over and I'm locked out with a PASS LOCK ICON on steady on my dash that dint blink at all , factory stereo is gone so I hard wired the original plug and got an interface plug wire harness and put it all in and still have the passlock issue. I done the key thing but when I turn the key on the passlock icon Never blinks or even goes out but if I turn the key to start and release the ICON will go out and be blank. ANY suggestions or ideas, comments would be greatly appreciated, thank you ! If you need to talk maybe we can go on ig or messenger ? PLEASE HELP

Somebody tried to steal my car and damaged the coil of wire that is around the tumbler and now my car won't stay running when cranked. It runs about 10-15 seconds then cutts off. What can I do?

hypothetically if the vehicle was experiencing a no start condition due to a malfunctiong security system, would this box remedy the situation and allow the vehcile to start? in other words does this actually bypass the securty system? i dont undertand how this box works...

no.. get the xpresskit that learns the password sent to the pcm.. that will bypass it altogether

Have a 2003 Silverado 1500 5.3 engine 4x4 automatic trans. Was going about 60 and it just died, on the dash it said Battery Discharge, then that went away. went to the side of the road, and tried to start it,would only start for 20 30 sec then die. Let it set for 30 minutes, started right up put in gear went 500 ft then died. got it towed home next morning tried to start truck started right up, and I drove it into the gararge, put it up on jack stands and started truck, put in gear, went 20 mph 40 and even 50 mph with wheels turning. Let it idle for 30 minutes then it died. tried to start it and when turning key to start, acted as though the key was stuck on to start and the started seemed to turn over faster than normal and I had to physically turn the key to the run position. I looked on the forums and most said it was the Passkey, Passlock vats messing up. I tried the relearn and nothing helped. I have the two key system, where one key for driver one and another for driver 2, unfortunately key no 2 is lost. When truck does start up runs just great. I would like to by pass this but do not have a remote start . what resister do you use and between what two wires? Sure sounds like what you were experiencing. New engine, all new sensors on the engine, and new fuel pump , regulator , fuel filter, all four oxygen sensors replaced. New alternator, new battery, crank, cam, oil, coolant sensor all new. Still same problem. Please respond, would like to know how to by pass the anti theft and passlock system on this truck. Thanks

Why not just take the ring off the ignition switch and secure the key in the center and tie it back in column out of the way? Seems like what your selling just duplicates what you already have

So this renders the transponder neutralized and eliminates any theft deterrent abilities of the vehicle. Extra keys are $10 per, and the vehicle will program the keys for you if you have one. So you are relocating the transponder chip. You aren't bypassing anything. Bypassing implicates eliminating the functionality of the system altogether. You are just relocating the transponder chip. And I am sure that this fancy item you are selling is much more expensive than a new key.

Yeah, it completely misses the main problem with passkey which is that the electrical characteristics of the keys drift over time causing the systems to lockout even the original key. I'm not sure how these "bypassers" are meant to even be reprogrammed either unlike the stock system which can be done by leaving your key in the on position for 10 minutes.

instead of doing all this why not just take the plastic cover off the steering column and stick the whole key in there close to the ignition switch... That's all I did..

What's that for? You mean just stick the key to the metal of the ignition switch for a few minutes or seconds so then you can use the same key to start the car? Sorry my ignorance. I'm asking because my car is being like blocked for a month and a half cause the key turns but it got stuck. Thank God I already watched a video of how to fix that. But the car still no start with no power or any lights on anywhere on the car. The battery is good like 12 volts and a little bit more. The fuses box have power including the cigarette thing were you plug the cellphone charger. So please let me know how can I fix this. I already replaced the ignition switch that goes on the back of the cylinder and also the ignition solenoid. Thanks in advance. God bless.

If you have no programmed chip keys, check with dealers and locksmiths. I have seen bypasses, but have my doubts if they actually work.

Your key hardly resembles 2010 2500hd . Looks more like a plastic toastito stuck on a nickle coated brass popsicle stick. Yet it identifies itself as pk3

ATTENTION: If you came here looking how to "BYPASS" or "IMMOBILIZE" the problematic factory Passlock III security system on your GM car know this - This video and product shown DOES NOT "bypass" or "immobilize" the system. All this product does is AMPLIFY the signal received by the key tumbler. The original transponder chip still sends it's signal to the ORIGINAL and FLAWED key tumbler receiver... Albeit through a now stronger signal. It does NOT bypass the immobilizer like the title says.

if it's a starter cut off simply run a wire from the ignition to the starter relay done problem solved takes 10 mins 5 dollars
