I have a question, I have the old sirius xm jvc tuner sort of like the watching ur showing us and I'm grandfathered in with no subscription or monthly fees with sirius. I want to install the jvc tuner into a new nissan sentra but want to keep the nissan factory radio. Radio is sirius ready. Is there an interface or adapter that will help do this thing? I have the tuner working now with an old car with jvc stereo but car is old and trying to install in newer car. Thanks any feedback appreciated.

butt head no, the v200 is for 2013 and later models

most cars are 10 amp (if not more) so you can add this and then some to the circuit. check your vehicles fuse panel 1st

thanks for not answering the one question that really needed answered... where to hook the damn 12v wire to. Instruction manual says not to hook it to the battery, but with an aftermarket radio I don't feel comfortable splicing it into the stock radio 12v wire when the radio is already putting a load on it

Do you have a video of this actually hooked up, im wondering if it will look like how the stock radios look like with the built in XM. Meaning will it say xm or sirius on the stereo screen and also tell you the name of the song playing and which station you have it set on, Or will it just say "Aux"?

I am buying a dvd/navi system from smartauto24. It says it doesn't support Satellite Radio. Does that mean it doesn't support it built in? or does that mean I could buy these things from you and use them on that radio ?

No I dont, But on most stereos it gives you 3 lines of text and is better than stock any day.

youll need the new mating Sirius equipment for the new radio, when you're talking oem and aftermarket. they are never directly interchangable

Please help. I have a XM onyx with the full subscription I have every channel. But my reception sucks under the smallest tree. No wires are damaged I even had best but swap out the antenna and still no good. I know somebody who has Siriusxm built into there car and they have no issues on the roads I have issues on. What's different about cars that come with it over aftermarket?

i need a bit of help/advice. i bought this deck www.visions.ca/Catalogue/Category/Details.aspx?categoryId=13&productId=23416&sku=KDAR959BS for its sat radio ready feature and bought the sxv200 car tuner. unfortunately it is on the xm platform and xm has poor signal in my area. so i wanted to go back to the sirius platform so i bought a scc1 but it wont connect directly to my jvc deck. do i need to purchase the jvc kit or is there a cable that will go from the scc1 directly to my jvc deck?
