Thank you for sharing this wisdom and enlightenment. It reminds me that the essence of the gospel and the truth shadow under which we live has not changed since the first century.

11:21- a beautiful statement that reminds me of Justo Gonzalez's statement in volume 1 of his "The Story of Christianity" when he talks about Missional practices immediately following the Apostlic era. The prolifieration of the gospel happened mostly through normal people telling others they encountered about God's gift of love in Christ.

Never a more relevant message for the “modern” world today! Thank you for posting, Chad. This is one of the finest interviews I’ve heard in my lifetime. Mr Newbigin’s leadership and training methodology is indeed an inspiring model for God’s church. His humility, profound wisdom, reliance upon the Holy Spirit and love for God’s people has been a true revelation and deepened my walk of faith. I am eager to discover his writing. That we should all adhere to the Gospels and love one another. Glory to God!

I heard he used to speak Tamil. Great he did not restrict himself from learning others' scriptures too. Thanks for this video.

Bill McLain “The Gospel in a pluralist society” is one of his famous ones,SPCK publication. But the one that’s worth it’s weight in gold is his biography.Should be available through your local library. His conversion at a Quaker Camp in wales, after a near falling accident it’s an amazing one,it took the form of a dream where the cross broke the chasm he was falling into,as he cried out to the Lord to save him!

Thank you so so much for posting this clip by Newbigin. Reading his works helped clarify so many things in my faith life especially about faith and reason. He has also helped to get such a wholistic perspective about the Christian faith! This is a rare clipping! Do upload if you have more....
