Maa'm you teaching very well but One of the mistakes you have made is that you have given an example that(علی تین گھنٹے سے یہاں سو رہا ہے)that means Ali has been sleeping here for three hours.so it comes down to present perfect tense ..۔۔so here is example (علی تین گھنٹے سے یہاں سو رہا تھا )→Ali had been sleeping over here for 3 hours.

No there is difference between present perfect continuous tense formula: Subj+has/have+been+4thform verb+obj+since/for. And formula of past perfect continuous tense: Subj+ had+been+4th form verb or 1st or ing+object+since/for. So there is difference in form of has/have and had
