One thing that baffles me about Nebuchadnezar's story is the fact that no one could seize his throne nor invade babylon when he went astray for 7 years. Which meant God was truly the ruler of Babylon and there were officials who could carry on the reign without an eye for the throne. God gave the kingdom to Nebuchadnezzar because it pleased him. He secured it even when he was being taught a lesson, and with humility came restoration.
