Dear Purvi, Needle number depends upon the fabric you are stitching. Use organ needles on your machine. Choose no. 8 needle for lightweight fabrics similar to georgette or organdy; a 10 or 12 needle for medium-weight fabric; a 14 and 16 for heavy fabrics like jeans and 18 for very heavy fabrics.
