Thank you for your video, that was very informative :) One question please, for common factor models in SEM, researchers suggested a wide array of methods to assess various aspects of measurement invariance: Composites and Common Factors. Can one use the MICOM, which is a measurement model assessment criteria dedicated to composite and formative models, with reflective indicators?

souha kabtni .. Henseler et al. (2015) says, that MICOM is applicable to composite, reflective and formative models: "All variance-based SEM techniques model latent variables as composites; that is, they create proxies as linear combinations of indicator variables. In particular, no matter which outer weighting scheme is used in PLS (Mode A, Mode B, or Mode C), the resulting latent variable is always modeled as a composite (Henseler, 2010)."

If I have 3 groups (A, B, and C) to compare using SmpartPLS, how do I present the results of the MICOM? Do I do a pairwise comparison such as AB, AC and BC? if so, how do I present these results in the tables for Step 2 and Step 3? Thank you in advance for all the help :)

Another question if you please, while in step 2, if out of 5 original correlations, one is marked in red, does that mean that compositional invariance is not met and one cannot move to the 3rd step? Does this also hold for the 3rd step? Thank you in advance for all the help you provide :) :)

Yes, you can’t go to 3rd step until compositional invariance met, try to delete one indicator may cause decreasing in the original correlation of the latent variable and try again
