Lesson 16 Expilicit Dynamic Analysis in Ansys Workbench

Your tutorials are awesome! I just started with ansys and they help my a lot. I would have a question, I saw now a static, a transient and with your video a dynamic simulation for gears. Could you tell me what is mostly used in practice? One of them or are all 3 simulations important if you want to check stresses ect? Thank you.

Static, transient and dynamics all are different. Each one has its own importances and don't compare each other. if you you want impact stress static is best, for pressure stress are contact stress at rpm transient is better. And damage or disturbance in teeth dynamic are best.
