I have an doubt regarding the sampling period of seismic data set Why do we sample seismic data set for 2ms and 1ms instead of 4 ms? As you have mentioned in your video either in respect with geology or for business needs,Could you explain it to me ?

It is with respect to ur needs, depends on what sort of data you desire. If you require high frequency data the time period would get shorter and if u require low frequency data your time period will become larger and larger.
