LOL. But "It really helps to cut down on sickness in the home, and at the office!" Is Dust Off allowed to make that claim without any proof because the FDA has no jurisdiction over this product space? Not to imply that bacteria and viruses can't live on keyboard surfaces and be picked up from them ("Besides, I'm not interesting in getting sick any time soon!"), but outside of shared computer situations, I doubt there's any significant risk of infection, especially if you wash your hands with soap before eating finger foods or touching your eyes. Has anyone tried their "Premium Keyboard Cleaning Kit"? Unfortunately my skin is relatively oily, and my keyboard and mouse rapidly become quite filthy-looking compared to other people's, even though I wash my hands frequently. Various cleaners and solvents I've used in the past have been pretty half-assed at cleaning the sticky gunk, and have required a ton of elbow grease. I'm curious whether the solvent and/or surfactants they're using are anything special, or if it's just alcohol and maybe some standard soap. I bet there are enzymes or whatnot that'd be particularly good at breaking up the cellular debris, but maybe they're prohibitively expensive.
