it depends...as a beginner 30-45 mins but if ur a professional then there are so many things to cover during practice, then you will need 1-3 hours.. but practicing 45 mins is the most suitable way!

Yes , He/she can play piano with one hand. He can play either the lead part of any song or background score ( Arpegios , Chords , strings section ) on any song .
