안녕하세요 선생님! 덕분에 영어공부 잘하고 있습니다:)한 가지 궁금한 게 있는데, 두 번째 예문에서, I used to go to the movies quite often 해석을 '예전에 는 영화를 보러 극장에 자주 갔었어' 라고 하셨는데, 문장에 '극장에'라는 뜻의 영어 단어가 없는 것 같아서요!혹시 go to the movies 가 보통 극장에서 영화 보는 걸 의미해서 그런 건가요??

I used to swim quite regularly. But now, I just don't have the place to swim nearby. I hardly swim anymore. I used to go shopping at the mall quite often. But now, I just do internet shopping on my computer and on my cell phone. It's just more convenient. This pizza used to be very popular. A lot of people used to enjoy it. But, I don't know why, now it's not so popular anymore. I didn't use to enjoy reading something like novels. But now I like to read English novels or storybooks. Especially I prefer to books written by the winner of the Newbery Medal. It's really interesting and sometimes it has moral lessons. I think it's worth reading for everyone learning English. Even adults. 예문을 비슷하게 따라 만들어 보면 이렇게 고루고루 알찬 좋은 문장으로 연습 할 수 있다는게 완전 행운이란 생각이들고 더 열심히 연습하게 되요 ! 세줄이지만 정말 뭔가 있어 보이는 패턴 ! 항상 감사합니다 선생님~ ☕ 😀

I used to go to gym, but now I work out myself at home mainly with KZbin videos. (예전에는 헬스장 다녔는데, 지금은 집에서 혼자 유투브영상으로 운동해) I used to read only korean novel, but now I enjoy many different kinds of books including even SF and classics. (예전에는 한국소설만 읽었는데 지금은 다양한 종류의 책을 봐. 심지어 SF랑 고전까지도) I used not to be really tired even if I get off work in the morning, but now it's really hard to fall asleep in the morning. But now I run on tredemil. It's too cold to run. I used to eat seafood quite often, especially shrimp. But, I don't know why, now I'm allegic for shrimp.. So, I don't eat any seafood with shrimp anymore.

And for many of us, this becomes more or less a habit - something that we do unconsciously to practice consistently and also kind of like an addiction - something that we should be able to make good use of to improve our English to the next level.

I used to play a game quite often. But now, I just don’t have the time. I hardly play a game anymore. I used to go on a trip quite often. But, because of COVID19, now I just spend time in my home. It’s pretty good. This beverage used to be very popular. All the friends have tried it before. But, I don’t know why, now it’s not so popular anymore.

(22.12.03) used to V 1. 예전에는 꽤 규칙적으로 운동했었어. 근데 지금은 할 시간이 없어. 지금은 (더이상)거의 운동을 하지 않아. 2. 예전에는 영화관에 꽤 자주갔어. 근데 지금은 TV나 컴퓨터로 영화를 봐. 그냥 그게 더 편해. 3. 이 동네는 예전에 인기가 많았어. 많은 사람들이 여기에 엄청 놀러왔었지, 근데 왜 그런지 모르겠지만 지금은 더이상 그렇게 인기가 없어. 1. I used to exercise quite regularly. But now, I don't have the time(to exercise). I hardly excercise anymore. (*hardly do something anymore 미국식 표현) 2. I used to go to the movies quite often. But now I just watch movies on my TV and on my computer. It's just more convenient. 3. This area used to be really popular. A lot of people used to hang out here. But, I don't know why, now it's not so popular anymore.

I used to be more curious than afraid about something new. But now It's just the opposite as one gets older.
