I'm so glad to have found you again!! I've had your tatting info since 1999 and just decided to pick it up again. Better late than never I guess. Being left handed makes it changeling for me but going to try again. Hope you are well. Glad to see you are on You tube. I love You tube!!!!!

As always, your videos are wonderful. Clear and easy to understand. Could you possibly do one about tatting around a large bead like an 8 mm pearl or something? I'm sure us needle tatters would love to know how. Thank you again for giving your time and talent to teach others this enjoyable craft.

Hello and thank you for watching. I was in the process of how to add beads to tatting when we were told my mom couldn't live alone anymore. So for the past few months we have bought a house to move her in with us to take care of her. Advise to everyone do not move 2 households into one household at the same time. Way to hectic and overwhelming. However we are now in and settling down. Plans for over the summer are to work on new exciting techniques and get them up on video for the students. Have a little more patience and it will be up there. Happy Tatting

Hello Georgia Will there be any more videos coming as I have watch all 23 that is 3hours 17mins give or take, just to say that I have only just got into tatting. I'm male but can sew,knit crochet and I love cross stitch my mum got me to knit when I was around 9 years old and have just learned the rest from books but this tatting is just awesome as you can get all these wonderful things out of one stitch and a loop but mind you music is just three cords thank you again really did enjoy watching them all.

How do you start the pearl tatting when you've just finished a split ring with an added Lark's Head knot core thread upon closing the split ring. So I have the needle threaded on right side of added core thread and the ball thread on the left side?

I have tried and tried to learn suttle tatting but no can do, but I can kneedle tat. My question I can all patterns be done with a kneedle? I know how to work with two kneedles, is this the same?
@georgiaseitzonlinebeginnin47146 жыл бұрын
yes most patterns can be done using needles however you will have to adapt the technique in the shuttle pattern to needle. Happy Tatting

I will ask of you have a video from connection dashes between 2 rings . i'm a total beginner from 1 and i have a pattern witch has this item between 2 rings
@georgiaseitzonlinebeginnin47146 жыл бұрын
Hi Myriam and thank you for watching. The dashes between the 2 rings is called a picot. Pronounced PeeKo. I do have a video showing how to join the 2 rings under the shuttle tatters classes. It is the same principle that is used no matter which tool your working with. Here is the link to help you along. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2rbd3amp6x3pqM Happy Tatting

Do you then do a ring in a solid color?
@georgiaseitzonlinebeginnin47147 жыл бұрын
Hi Erin. How have you been? To answer your question yes you can continue on with a solid color ring as you would normally using whichever color you choose. Happy Tatting
