Question: since Satan is a created angelic spirit being how is it possible to totally destroy him, he is spirit? Yes he can be contained in the abyss but destroyed?

The woman referred to is the Church of the new testament (Matt.16:18, 25:1-13, Rev.14:4, 19:7). The new testament church is the Israel of God (Rom. 2:2-29, 4:12, Gal. 6:16). See also Rev.14:4 and 1Cor.15:23 showing that it is the new testament church that is the subject here and would become the Israel of God (Gal.6:16). However, this is not replacement theology as God will continue to work with the nation of Israel, his people, and will reconcile them to himself (Zech.12:10-14, Jer.31:31-34, 50:4-5, etc.). It's interesting that Tom accepts the non Biblical trinity doctrine of the Roman Catholic church.

Jesus Christ himself stated that ( John 7:16 Jesus answered them and said , my doctrine is not mine , but his that sent me ) ; and Malachi 3:6 ; For I am the LORD , I change not ; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not destroyed . Jesus Christ was the comforter ( Holy Spirit of God The Father ) when he came to the earth as flesh and blood man to deliver the word of God ( Hebrews 1:1-7 ) ; which is the Holy Spirit ( John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth ; the flesh profiteth nothing : the words that I speak unto you , they are spirit , and they are life ) . The angels are the comforter that the Father send in Jesus Christ name , will guide you into all truth , for he shall not speak of himself ; but whatsoever he shall hear , that shall he speak : and he will shew you things to come ( Hebrews 1-13-14 But to which of the angels said he at any time , sit on my right hand , until I make thine enemies thy footstool ? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation ) ? The law of Moses was the law of animal sacrifice , because Moses was the mediator of the covenant at Mount Sinai , and he mediated between The God of Israel and Israel through the Leviticus priesthood for sin , just like Jesus Christ Mediates between The God of Israel and Israel for sin today . The law of animal sacrifice was called the circumcision of flesh , law of works ; which could not get your sins forgiven , but kept God from killing your flesh/body . This was through man - the Leviticus Priesthood - circumcision made by hands. The covenant at the time of Moses , is the same covenant through Jesus Christ - The Ten Commandments and the Statutes and Judgments attached to the covenant to define the covenant . Jesus Christ replaced all that was flesh at the time of Moses with himself ( spirit ) : The mediator - Moses , Lawgiver - Out of the mouth of two or three people are all matters established , Testator - Blood of the animals , Priesthood - Leviticus , High Priest - Aaron and his sons . The woman in Revelation 12 is Israel ; which fled into the wilderness , between 66 A.D. and 70 A.D. , just before the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. ; the three and a half years ( Jesus spoke of this in Luke 21:20-24 . The mother church was in Jerusalem , and the woman brought forth the man child ( Jesus ) . The dragon is the Roman armies ; which persecuted the woman ( church in Jerusalem ) . The earth helped the woman is the daughters of Moab ; which receive a message from the lamb ( Christ ) to hide the outcasts ; which flee and wander ( Isaiah 16:1-4 ) . The flood is another name for armies , but Moab fought for the one's who fled from Jerusalem . The dragon was wroth with the woman ( Israel ) , and went to make war with her seed ( The seven churches in Asia : Ephesus , Smyrna , Pergamos , Thyatira , Sardis , Philadelphia , and Laodicea ) . The roman empire persecuted these churches after 70 a.d. .

I have never understood why the animal sacrifices were allowed when the Father himself said he never asked for nor wanted it. Why didn’t he put a stop to it when it obviously didn’t work?

There’s 2. Beasts in Rev 13. The first from the sea is the future King of North (with 10 others ) the beast from the land is the anti christ who will work with the first beast in a religious context. It is the final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire spoken of in the Bible. Both People will be given amazing powers by Satan the original beast or dragon.
