I use 2 table spoons dye , caustic soda 1 and half table spoons, sulphite 3 table spoons

I have a traditional wear I have to make with very heavy cotton when I dye do I allow it get dry before removing the stiches? I am told I cannot wash after dying because it will all bleed out. How can you help me get a solution through the process of very heavy cotton say blanket? When do I untie the stiches? Can I wash it or live like that. The Ndop traditional wear. From Cameroon

I watch the lessons 1 and 2 and you said in lesson one you said the dye should be mixed in warm water but the water used I lesson 3 was normal water though you added caustic soda which made the water warm, is that what you meant.

For large quantity cold water will save cost. If it's not really much use hot water. The dye sticks faster and you can even wash immediately.
