Sir how you can connect a pnp sensor to plc output, sensor is always used in plc input, you explain right in term of sink and source, but practically it is not used.

The first question u have asked that 24v supply is provided by both PLC Input as well as output na. So the answer will be "Sourceing input & Sourcing output na" because both r giving source to the PLC why u say that is" Sinking input & sinking output" plz reply me. Just maina start KIA ha so

Thanku for the video. The sink/source concept in frist video of learn plc in hindi and in this video are completely opposite. In frist video you explained that if s/s is connected to 0v than its sourcing. Bt in this video you explained opposite. Please clear this confusion. Thank you

Hi! Well it’s quite tricky when we use the word „Source“ , „Sourcing Sensor“ and „Sourcing Input“. Source in general means from where the „voltage signal is coming“ - Source could be NPN or PNP in Plc wiring Sourcing- Generally refer to PNP sensors because they provide 24V. So on S/S - 0V would be connected and PLC input will be Sinking. Sourcing Input (PLC) means PLC gives out 24VDC from Input because common is connected to S/S, hence you will connect NPN Sensor. I hope this clears some doubt. As I say these words are bit tricky !

We always give supply a pnp device from any other sources not plc source only output supply of sensor which out come is 24v ( as per field conditions healthy.) Connect to plc input. Read early comment first
