Wow I can’t believe I stumbled onto this. This song was popular in The Netherlands in 1976 when I lived and worked there straight out of High School. I’ve always wanted to learn this song after seeing Chicago/Peter Cetera playing 12 string in a Dutch pop music show. New sub! Thank you!

Dave, you're making an impact on the world one great song at a time. Thanks for all you do. Also, the last chord of the B section, try a Dm6 instead of Dm7 and see if you like that a little better with the melody. Subscribed!

I'm glad to have found your channel . I've been trying to learn this song and have been struggling playing in original key without a capo. It's much easier now after your lesson and sounds much better. Thanks, I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Very enjoyable lesson, thank you. Nothing too taxing for me and a lovely song to include in my future repertoire. Any tips to transition smoothly from the chords to the little solo?

Get a second guitar player. I do it in a duo. I suggest if alone, just go for it.
@mariocurtis22084 жыл бұрын
@@DavesGuitarChannel Thank you Dave. I can play it at the tempo you taught, and sounds even better when I let that last chord linger. Chicago has the fabulous horn section too, which helps!
