It was VERY encouraging for me to hear you say that most students can't move the 3rd finger independently at first, but that within a short time they begin to be able to. I have felt very discouraged at my inability to move this finger by itself as a beginner to the point where I start having doubts about whether I will ever get any better. This encourages me to keep going!

Good video. What are your thoughts on the book 'Pumping Nylon'?

Pumping Nylon is great but it's short and only has a few exercises per topic. It's good for crossover students.

When my left hand gets tired I switch to doing right hand open string exercises and then back to the left hand.
