Great reminder to revisit my “why” for my fitness goals too. Even if nothing has changed it’s always great to check in

Love this! I am a Registered Dietitian (since 2001, I am old!) and I will say it has taken years of teaching classes, working at hospitals, failing and getting back up again to get to a place in my career that I am proud of. Just like you said though I can't stay stagnant, always learning 💜

You are such an inspiration for me. I’ve been following you for a few years now and absolutely love your sense of humor, your knowledge, and passion for helping people enjoy their fitness journey. I always look forward to your KZbin video releases because no matter what the topic is you always manage to expend my knowledge in some way and to make me smile or laugh. ❤️

Thank you for this💖I started personal training at a new gym a little over a year ago and I'm always getting frustrated when clients stop training or when there's no new members to even reach out to to build my clientele. But like you said it takes time🙏

I love this message. I'm a dog trainer, not a personal trainer but many of these lessons carry over. Everyone wants immediate success and a full roster of clients. It takes time to grow and learn, even after you've gotten your certifications. Keep at it and be consistent - the key to "over night success"!

Honestly, this is all such good life advice, plain and simple! Definitely struggle with consistency, so your statement about if one’s doing it MOST of the time being the important part, was such a light bulb moment for me!!

Justina, I'm starting my foray into the fitness field (after completing my NASM CPT cert!) and I have to say that your videos have been as helpful as anything I've seen out there (shout out to Joe and Axiom as well). Having a real person give input into a field that presumably many of us don't have a ton of experience in is super valuable, and you make it personal and fun. It makes some down time in the kitchen feel a bit more productive or friendly to watch a video that helps us learn how to be healthier and help others do the same. I'm excited about the steps I'm taking and you definitely help support that healthy progress. Anyways, go Birds! Not exactly brimming with confidence about our chances Monday, but it still should be fun!

Love your points on consistency. It's crazy to me how people can gain followers without consistency. Showing up is half the battle.

Traveling Queens to BK, if you know you know! 😅 I live in NJ and commute to both jobs in Manhattan so totally feel that! I’m glad you’re charging more than $40 now!

I know we all have learning and growing to do, but you know so much no matter how many years youve been doing this. Its so clear. You really care and it shines through too. And youre so humble but know your worth. I loved this video and your perspective.

This explains why personal training is so expensive. its alot for someone who is experienced.

And there's a lot behind the scenes people don't think about. Space rental, continuing education, prep time, commute, etc.

Love this topic and the recognition that we're all learning and growing no matter how much of an expert you appear from the outside. For those things that you look back on and cringe at (e.g. assuming old FITT club workouts), do you pull them down, or remake them, or how do you handle those kind of situations?

Great Video. I am currently studying for my CPT and CNC certifications and I really appreciate the advice. BTW when you hold the mic like that it causes a lot of a lot of noise. I've noticed it is a current trends for vloggers to hold a lav mic all the way up to their mouths but that isn't how they're designed to be used and you end up not getting clean sound. That being said, Rode does have windscreens for that particular model (I thought they were included) so it should help with the air/wind noise coming from the mic if you choose to use it in that style. I don't mean to sound critical, I just work in video production so I'm a little sensitive to these things.

Great video! I’m a group fitness instructor and have been thinking about getting my CPT also so I can be more knowledgeable as far as programming is concerned. I know you talked about staying up to date in this field; are there websites, books, journals etc. that you would recommend utilizing?

I honestly follow a lot of people who interpret studies better than I do! Matt Casturo is great as well as Dr. Mike from RP. Otherwise just continue taking classes and courses from people who know more than you :)
