For Team TwoTwo, it was the last day out at Monster Mountain for the Mini Major races. Both Kiah and Tate worked on improving their riding technique, as the main goal was to ride at their new-found pace more effortlessly. Really focusing on that this weekend has helped them make a HUGE amount of progress, as well as ride at that higher level while doing so safely!
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! After recently retiring it is time for us to start the next chapter in our lives and we've decided to bring everyone along for the ride with us on our new youtube channel The Reeds!

Just one year ago, Chad was teaching Tate to jump a double. Look at him now! The control Tate has is incredible! Nothin but pure talent is flowing through these kids.

Tate’s just flying around the track. Hard to believe he’s on an 85 and the rest (most likely) are on 112s. That’s a significant difference in power. Great job Reed family!

Tate dude you’re speed is awesome you did great even with the cc disadvantage. Just keep listening to your dad he looking out for your best interest. Ride as much as you can if you talk to any pro racer even your dad they rode/ride every chance they got your bike and you become as one you’ll learn it weak and strong points and yours also. You have a lot of talent just need to polish it with your dads help you will do just that. Kiah was all business🔥🔥🔥🔥 on her last start almost went out with wrong gate when she gets her jumps down look out boys she coming through

Agree on the parent thing is key, and why we have issues all over these days. I think we all when I was younger, I'm older than Chad. We found odd mind tricks and pre-race things to not be to over-pumped and not relaxed, but also not be too lax and sluggish. It's a harder balance to find than most think. And is huge I mean HUGE to upping your game in anything

Love the comment Chad made that all the great riders didn’t have soft parents. I think that is true with any kids in life. Be it racing, football or any other career.

Stiffer progressive rear spring, race sag 120mm, slower rebound, softer compression will help.

The kid looks way better than I've ever seen him before. I guess I remember saying that multiple time in the past but "it is what it is", lol. maybe some pushups situps and some running will do him good. Hell, we had to start doing that in PE in junior high, not like it's a big ask but could probably help him.

I remember when Tate scared himself doing a huge whip. Now he has speed and style! Race craft and fitness might be the last things needed to be a dominant rider. Kiah is hauling except for the last foot needed to downside the landing. Tate may need to tow her over that last foot. I’d love to know what Pace is interested in, given the natural talent he displayed early on?
@Floridawoodsbanshee
@Floridawoodsbanshee 10 ай бұрын
Kiah looks great. Just need to hit the landing. Find 2 berms and then add 2 table tops, one 20 feet and the other 30 feet!!! Go round and round
@Floridawoodsbanshee
@Floridawoodsbanshee 10 ай бұрын
When 20 feet and 30 feet are easy, start doing 25 feet and 40 feet!!! Repetition is great for turns, ruts in the turns, and air time.
@Floridawoodsbanshee
@Floridawoodsbanshee 10 ай бұрын
Obviously for Tate super cross sized doubles and triples!!! Only start out with table tops of course but the proper real life pro size.
@Floridawoodsbanshee
@Floridawoodsbanshee 10 ай бұрын
As they master this shorten up the difference between the berm and face.

Tate I know sometimes it's hard listening to your dad when u are trying so hard and it's frustrating I used to get angry with my dad but u have got to understand everything you need is in his head if his delivery is not perfect let him know work together and u will be unstoppable

both videos this weekend, all motos, I thought Tate got terrible jumps and by the time he exits the S-turn, he goes from bottom 5 to top 10. iunno. maybe it was just an optical illusion from the camera angle. could swear it looks like he passes 10-20 bikes in that S-turn. 😄 tight moto 3!

I think Kia is worried about dropping the front wheel to match the down ramp that’s why she always wants to land flat at the end of the table. When you you at her general riding stance it’s defensive bum right back. Has she had a few big over the bars crashes that’s given her that fear? Personally think once she’s able to get past that than she’ll down ramp everything. She’s also adapted the Hudson Deegan gear shift but shuffle on the start, 😂

"Race Craft" is the dumbest thing that ignorant Moto people say that don't understand any other type of motor racing... A race craft, is the vehicle you are racing on. That is simply it. YOUR "race craft" in moto is your racing skills... look up the word craft, then race, and come back to me to explain how race craft is something that's been said for decades simply because of ignorant people being the face of Moto... This is yet another prime example of that 🤦‍♂️

I believe it’s used as a noun in most forms of racing. And being amongst some of the highly renowned racers on the planet it’s used widely and constantly. Ones craft is their skills. I really hope you find some happiness in your life. Maybe your lack of race craft is the reason you’re bitter! Goodluck
