I don't think the ongoing self-deprecating discourse helps at all. She doesn't come through as humble or funny or witty, but as insecure and kind of undeserving of her position. I'm sure she's brilliant but she portrayed herself as borderline pathetic. And I'm saying this because I'm sure she isn't.
