Aparna Chennapragada is a director of product management at Google and is currently the technical assistant (TA) to the CEO. She most recently led Google Now, a personalized digital assistant that proactively helps you through the day. Having led multiple efforts across Google Search and KZbin over the years, she is excited about the potential of AI and algorithms in powering life-changing products. Aparna’s 15 years of experience in the tech industry, as a computer scientist, engineer, and product leader, started with helping build world’s first content delivery services at Akamai technologies. She holds a master’s degree in management and engineering from MIT, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
