I’m Filipino and I believe indonesian is also good in singing through emotion and imagination…but they preferred to like mostly on giving the feeling of the story of the song rather than focusing on belting and high notes…

It's a traditional way to sing, called dangdut Sunda. The rapid talking during song is the special part, yes it's a kind of story telling. It's so rich in technique, and that's the way it is. She did a good job and fit her focus in every part adequately. If you wanna see her performance focusing on high notes or some kind of orchestra and diva's performance. You might search her other videos, there's many of them. This kind performance is the rare one.

It's not Indian (Hindustani) music but Sundanese, an ethnic music existing in West Java, as we know that there are hundreds of ethnic groups in Indonesia. That "disturbing" sound is angklung, musical instrument made of bamboo, for us it's one of the most favorite instruments. The name "Kejora" is Lesty's first single after winning dangdut singing competition when she was only 14 years old, and later she is named after her very first song. Lesty & Melly come from the same region and share the same language, music, and culture.
