Love the tune Picardie. Massively underrated. Also makes me think of Advent for some reason despite not specifically being an Advent hymn. On which subject and despite being completely out of season, please can I put in a request for ‘Lo! He comes with clouds descending’ to the tune Helmsley at some point please. It’s just really regal and august and it’s a tune that an organist can give bit of welly too (as a former organist at Llandaff Cathedral used to!)

I love 'Helmsley' too. It's grand and glorious. Another favourite hymn is 'Magdalen College', "We sing of God, the mighty source..." Maybe Matt will surprise us one day. 😊
