This April, when I could feel the Lord was directing me and helping me break away from a relationship with my girlfriend, one who was always supportive of me but not a believer, I kept choosing God to direct me. Through Jesus' spirit, even though I didn't want to let go and wanted her to be saved to be with me, I knew I chose to be more in prayer which distanced me in the relationship, as hard as it was. When she finally decided enough was enough, peace entered me as she broke it off and I left to go to my car to pray in a field. This song was on the whole way before and after the breakup. Letting me know God wanted me to let go and let love and live life like its suppose to be. To be pure, righteous and focus on a relationship with Him. I hope this encourages whoever reads this, because I used to be focused on legalism and works. It just shows how much God is for us.

For the past two weeks I’ve been fighting really bad anxiety and depersonalization, and yesterday I finally broke. All the stress and fear from the past just washed out in tears, and I cried out to God, asking Him for help. I knew I couldn’t handle anything by myself like I though. Immediately I felt better. There was a warmth in my heart, which I knew was God’s hand. Now I feel like myself. Unafraid of the future and ready for whatever God has for me. When I gave it to God, He put this song in my head. And honestly, this testimony could not be more true. Now that I’ve let go, I’m findinf life, and I’m finally myself again. :))

when i was 9 i hit hard time. Times i will not name i had considered suicide one day it almost worked but was stopped. Fast forward to the summer 2018 i just got a new church met new people but still struggle with depression,but in the fall of 2018 my church took me to ONE YOUTH CONVENTION when i came back i was reborn as a child of god, knowing this puts me at ease i still have my good and bad days but i look up to God now i'm 13 serving at children service, my goal is give these kids a future and not make the mistakes i made i always know that when i feel alone that i'm really not THANK YOU LORD FOR SAVING ME!!!!!

I do think that this is a pretty cool hip music video, but I do feel like this is just a reaction to some of the bad reactions to the PEACE music video. Honestly, I really do love Y&F. I am glad they are making music. I personally loved the PEACE music video, especially since it was a work of art. But maybe instead of removing that music video and putting this one up in the wake of negativity to just get a positive vibe(?)- or to face the same topic of mental health but in an more indirect way, it might have been smarter to put up a "how it was made" video that went a little deeper into why they chose the imagery that they put into the PEACE music video. Artists are very intentional in imagery, and I highly doubt that they just threw together some crowns, veils, and a red dress and said "Hey! This seems pretty cool, so let's run with it!" And I am also pretty sure that they are sincere in their love for God and others so much so that they did not intend for the imagery to be interpreted as the "sundering of the church from God" and as "bathing in the blood of the saints." A "behind the scenes" video would have, in my mind, silenced a lot more controversy than taking the music video down has. I did read why they took the video down, but quite frankly it leaves a lot of artists wondering what to do with controversy, especially when you are truly pure in your intentions. I honestly don't know the extent of negativity Y&F got from the music video for PEACE, but I'm pretty sure many artists are faced with heaps of negativity in making art, like Monet or Van Gogh or Kandinsky to name a few. The music video did a lot of good. However taking it down is saying that the good it did wasn't worth the risk of reaching out to people who struggle with depression and anxiety in a world that does a terrible job at valuing mental health. Maybe I don't know the full story of why they took it down, and maybe i am in the wrong for saying they should have never put it down. But for me personally those images really helped me when I was going through a lot of stress and having panic attacks. It was God speaking to me. Y&F, I am glad that you are wanting to make art that connects us to the heart of God. Mental health is a real issue, and I am glad that you are tackling it, even if it's in this music video and song "Letting Go."

Rachel I do understand what you are saying, and maybe you are 100% correct. There is confusion, but if I am reading my Bible right, sometimes Jesus caused confusion like with Nicodemus in John 3 or simply in the fact that the Jews were looking for a military, economic and political deliverance through the coming Messiah. Well, that never happened because God had a bigger picture and THAT caused confusion. There are numerous examples of how God's voice caused confusion in the bible. God had caused confusion, but I don't think he ever creates chaos. If riots and violence and destruction happened because of PEACE, then no I don't think it would be "from God." But since it caused people to think, like Jesus' parables and how sometimes people didn't get them right away, I believe that in a way it was God using human vessels and their creativity to bring to light the subject of mental health. I think God uses confusion to make us humans realise where our hearts are and he uses it like a goad so that we can be more aware of the things that we have maybe neglected. All that to say, if you still disagree with me, I completely understand and that is fine 100%. If you still hold on to that belief, that's okay. But I hope I made you think a bit more on the subject. And also know that I am not attacking you, but maybe questioning your mindset. Thanks for disagreeing with me, haha! :)

@@timothymartin7894 I can agree with you that God uses confusion to set us right with Him, but I also know that in the Bible God caused confusion (I'm thinking of the tower of Babel) because His people were not standing right with Him, it is my understanding that if we are right with God and truly seeking Him, then any confusion is not from God. perhaps an explanation video by Y&F would help, but they've only taken the video down, which to me says they don't have a valid explanation or aren't willing to explain, even though it's something that should be discussed.
