Sabe pq era o melhor casal? Pq depois de tudo q passaram, o amor deles continuou intacto! Damon amava Elena incondicionalmente, e era recíproco... não havia mais ligação, ou maldição, nem mesmo o universo separou eles dois!! Pq era amor de verdade, sempre foi o Damon, sempre. Nem mesmo o destino das duplicatas ( Stefan e Elena ) foi forte o suficiente, pois Delena é real, e Elena aceitou o Damon com todos os defeitos, todos os fantasmas do passado dele...na morte Damon é quem faz ela se sentir mais viva, eles se amavam, independente de fãs acharem que Elena devia ficar com o Stefan, no fundo sabem q o amor deles não era real, era uma simples ligação q tinha nos seus espíritos de duplicatas, q no final não adiantaram.
