I've been in a stupor for five minutes. I saw this listed and, although it is practically a fool-proof song for most singers, Maggie, Sammie and Chase--with Tim & the Fossils--have set a bar too high for many.. I wasn't sure if I liked this arrangement, with a little more "swing" in the beat. But when those backing vocals in the "middle 8" around 0:52... holy cow... and then at 1:08 when they change from ooh to "ahhh" yikes, I was sold. It gives the whole song such a wonderful feeling up "air" and "opening" up.. Besides being great singers, whoever arranged the vocals is a real smarty. What a beautiful sound!

I rarely watch America Idol, not usually that impressed. But years ago I caught an early episode and watched that entire season. The reason: a young woman stunned me with her beautiful voice. My wife got tired of hearing me say that not only would she win, but she would be a star. That young woman was Carrie Underwood. Not since that time has any singer or group affected me like that...until I found Foxes and Fossils. Maggie, Sammie, and Chase are like finding 3 superstars in one group, each with the exceptional voice and passionate delivery of an international superstar. The Fossils provide exceptional accompaniment to this outstanding singing talent. I still hope one day to see a live performance, but I consider it a blessing anytime they share their exceptional talent with us in any form.

1 year later, upon careful analysis, I am pleased to say: Breathtaking. Fabulous. Shatteringly beautiful. Exquisite. Maggie's vocal: there just aren't any words that I can think of that could properly describe it. Thank you again for the beautiful work. That all I've got.

I love this song and especially the way it was done by Foxes and Fossils. This is the song I played on my cassette tape the night I proposed to my wife 34 years ago!
